MORBID ANGEL drummer Pete Sandoval, who underwent surgery after a disc prolapse in 2010 and has been in recovery ever since, has checked in with the following update:

"I am back behind the drumkit! Lots of surprises for 2012, starting with the release of the new TERRORIZER album. Thanks so much, my friends!"

Morbid Angel recently issued the following update:

"As promised, the autographed Pete Sandoval posters are here. As many of you know Pete had back surgery some time ago and even when he is much better and back behind the kit again he is still recovering. 100% of all the profit will go to Pete directly for his extensive medical bills. If interested please send us an email to officialmorbidangel@gmail.com before they are gone, there is only a limited amount available."

Another update states: "Also, and this is only for the true hardcore fan... Tour used and battle damaged original Pete Sandoval drumsticks used during the last decade. Pete gives away many drumsticks during the shows but also keeps a lot of them. We also have this few pairs available so drop us a line at officialmorbidangel@gmail.com for more info, we will reply within 24 hours."
