According to the Birmingham Mail, DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott took to the stage in Birmingham on December 4th to raise money for the man described as the band’s “sixth member”.

Joe Elliott took part in Doin’ The Decent Thing at the Roadhouse in Stirchley – a fundraiser for Dick Decent, from Dudley, who has toured with Def Leppard as their keyboard player.

The 51-year-old, who runs the Decent Pie Studios, in Dudley was struck down with fluoroquinolone toxicity two years ago, which is a little-known illness caused by poisoning after taking antibiotics. It means Dick often struggles to walk, get out of bed, work or perform on stage.
