STRYPER frontman Michael Sweet has issued the following update:

"Hello everyone. I hope your holiday season is going well. I’ve been extremely busy myself lately.

First up - I’m writing an autobiographical book, with the help of my good friend Doug Van Pelt (of HM Magazine). I’m really excited about this. For the first time it will be an opportunity for me to share with you the real story of my life.

I’m also recording a new solo record that I’m very excited about. Believe it or not but it's been 11 years since the release of my last solo project, Truth! Both the book and the record will be released through Big3 next year.

We’re in the initial stages of writing the book, which is where you come in. On Friday, December 16 at 8 PM (EST), I will be doing a live video chat on StageIt.com.

The chat will be a live video stream. I’ll be broadcasting from my home studio. When you log in, there will be a chat room where you can ask questions. I’ll answer as many of them as I can, live on the video screen.

Unfortunately StageIt doesn’t do free chats, so we’ve made it a “pay what you can” deal, with a minimum of only $2. This covers the cost of the streaming video, etc. This isn’t about the money, this is about helping me write the very best book we can, with the topics you want to see addressed.
