According to the VAN HALEN News Desk, Van Halen will have a billboard in Times Square for New Years Eve tonight! It will be the train graphic and it will be huge. The Van Halen graphic will be televised on the ABC electronic billboard between 9 and 10pm and the Clear Channel electronic billboard between 10 and 11 pm. This would be east coast times for a show like Dick Clark’s even though they just re-air it on the west coast three hours later. CNN does a show that is live across the nation so then it would be 9 to 11pm east coast and 6 to 8pm west coast.

Interscope/Universal will release the as-yet-untitled new Van Halen album on February 7th in North America. Interscope/Universal Japan will release the album a day later as a regular version plus limited deluxe with a bonus DVD will be available. The first single and video from the album will be released on January 10th.

Van Halen will be hitting the road in 2012 and the first tickets will go on sale January 10th. Dates will be officially announced on January 3rd.

More video of the band - reportedly filming the first single at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California is available. Check out four different video trailers - Long Version Trailer, Jump Trailer, Panama Trailer and Hot For Teacher Trailer - below:

The new, as yet untitled Van Halen album is the first with vocalist David Lee Roth in more than 25 years, and their first new music as a band in seven years.
