KISS legend Gene Simmons checked in with the following update on December 31st:

"Spent Christmas in Whistler at Shannon Tweed Simmons' house. Yes. Her house. I bought it for her and it's hers. I can only go there if I'm invited. Soph and Nick were there. And we worked out almost every day (Shannon and I).

Soph and her boyfriend 'Mosh' (Nick Marshall) and his 105 pound Malamute, Angus, went snowboarding (Mosh teaches it), and played with Angus every day. And Nick? Went shopping, hung out at the house, and we all ate like pigs... great food.

Here is a photo snapped on the way to Vancouver Airport to catch the flight back to LA. Soph took the foto. Nick flew into LA a day early.

I have to run into the studio with Paul to finish a vocal on the forthcoming KISS studio album. And then we'll take in Spielberg's War Horse. And then, New Year's Eve, we're all catching the LA Kings/Canucks hockey game at Staples Center...

And finally ending the year on a high note, watching our two offspring singing at Sayer's Club in Hollywood. 2011 -- wow. A great year.

Prices start at $750 per person for a double occupancy cabin, $600 per person for a triple occupancy cabin and $525 per person for a quadruple occupancy cabin!
