According to Birminghammail.net, a UK student has been honoured with an award named after metal legend OZZY OSBOURNE.
Helen Crothall was handed the Ozzy Osbourne Development Award by her tutors at Birmingham City University for passing her degree against all odds.
The 23-year-old BA Media and Communications student achieved a 2:1 in her BA Media and Communications (Music Industries) degree, despite losing her stepfather during her second year of her course.
Helen was also diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, a form of autism, while at university.
Aston-born Ozzy, who went to school close to the university’s Perry Barr campus, lent his name to the award last year in recognition of the student who makes the most progress during their course.
