RUDY SARZO Talks About 30th Anniversary Death Of RANDY RHOADS - "I Like To Think About Randy While He Was Alive, Not Him Being Dead"

2012 will mark the 30 year anniversary of the death of OZZY OSBOURNE guitarist Randy Rhoads, and bassist and bandmate Rudy Sarzo recalled that fateful day to Artisan News recently.
Sarzo witnessed the tragic plane crash first-hand: "I like to think about Randy while he was alive, not him being dead. He's still alive in my mind. His music will live on forever. I didn't hear about it, I witnessed it. It was so painful I'd rather not talk about it."
Rhoads died on March 19, 1982 in Leesburg, Florida.
