THE GATHERING - New Album In September, Single In May

Dutch rockers THE GATHERING have issued the following update:
"We are still working on the new record. We will release a new single in May, the album will be released in September. More info as soon as possible!In the meantime you still can listen to ‘Heroes For Ghosts’, our 11 minute opus magnus which will be on the new album as well! And it is still possible to download it for free at this location."
The Gathering's Always-era lineup is confirmed for the 2012 edition of the Dokk'em Open Air Festival, which is scheduled for June 29th and 30th at Spriens Raard in Dokkum, Netherlands.
Acts confirmed include: ARCH ENEMY, DEATH ANGEL, THE GATHERING, HAIL OF BULLETS, OBITUARY, OMISSION, PRO-PAIN, SINISTER, TRAIL OF TEARS, VANDERBUYST.
