GLEN DROVER To Judge Heavy MTL Battle Of The Bands

Montreal's heaviest and loudest bands will take to the stage once again to battle out in Round 2 for a chance to win one of two prized spots on the Heavy MTL 2012 lineup at Parc Jean-Drapeau from August 11th to 12th.
Round 2 will take place on Wednesday, February 8th, at Katacombes (1635 St. Laurent) with guest judge guitarist Glen Drover (EIDOLON, MEGADETH, KING DIAMOND, TESTAMENT) who recently joined the allstar lineup of HAIL!, which features vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (DIO DISCIPLES, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH), guitarist Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA) alongside a rotating list of musicians, including drummers Paul Bostaph (Testament, SLAYER, EXODUS, FORBIDDEN), Mike Portnoy (ADRENALIN MOB, DREAM THEATER, AVENGED SEVENFOLD); bassists James Lomenzo (Megadeth) and David Ellefson (Megadeth).
Note: Battle Of The Band showcases will be every second Wednesday of the month leading to Heavy MTL 2012.
