ROCK MEETS CLASSIC 2012 wrapped up this year's tour in Halle, Germany on January 28th. Bassist Mat Sinner (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER), who launched the project in 2010, has checked in with the following update:

"We love you, take it easy, bye bye!

The Rock Meets Classic 2012 tour is history. Already miss my boys and girls plus Ian, Luke, Chris, Jimi and Robin – thanks for one of the best musical journeys in my life. Every night was just fantastic and it was unbelievable to meet so many cool people on one stage! After a little break, I’m ready to start working on Rock Meets Classic 2013.

Love you all, miss you all."

Rock Meets Classic 2012 was an evening with Ian Gillan (DEEP PURPLE), Steve Lukather (TOTO), Jimi Jamison (SURVIVOR), Chris Thompson (MANFRED MAN'S EARTH BAND), Robin Beck, THE MAT SINNER BAND & The Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague.

The line-up also featured Jimmy Kresic (keyboards), Alex Beyrodt (PRIMAL FEAR, VOODOO CIRCLE/guitars), Oliver Hartmann (AVANTASIA/guitars, vocals), Martin Schmidt (drums), Amanda Somerville (TRILLIUM, AVANTASIA/vocals), Tiffany Krikland (vocals), Verena Schock (vocals), Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR/vocals), Sascha Krebs (vocals), Bernhard Fabuljan (conductor) and Mat Sinner (bass, vocals).
