Californian blues-rockers RIVAL SONS is back in the studio throughout February to record the follow-up to Pressure & Time, which is expected to surface later this year on Earache Records. The band is locked inside Honey Pye Studios in Nashville with Grammy-nominated producer Dave Cobb, who has produced all three previous releases from the band, and Grammy-winning engineer Vance Powell.

Rival Sons are due to release a special redux version of their 2011 breakthrough album, Pressure & Time, on March 12th.

Following its release in 2011, Pressure & Time landed in the charts in a number of countries, and also featured in numerous "album of the year" polls. Now, to celebrate its success, Pressure & Time is being released as a limited edition CD version with two bonus tracks - 'Company Man' and 'This Life On The Road' - plus a bonus DVD featuring the following videos:

Rival Sons recently confirmed a headlining European tour, which kicks off on March 30th in Hamburg, Germany. Following the band's debut European tour last year, Rival Sons are returning in 2012, performing around the UK with BLACK STONE CHERRY in March, followed immediately by their own headlining European tour.
