Greece's Rock Overdose recently interviewed MESHUGGAH guitarist Mårten Hagström in order to promote the band's new album, Koloss, which is slated for release on March 23rd in Europe, and on March 27th in North America, via Nuclear Blast Records. An excerpt follows:

How do you feel about the new album Koloss? Tell us some things about this new job. Is the result what you expected?

"It feels great. It became something we feel really good about. It's a more groovy and organic even maybe more atmospheric album than our previous releases."

Many live shows lately. Tell us about your next visit and where was your best and your worst live ever and why!

"I dont have a best or worst live show. At least there are way too many good ones to pick from to be able to name one. But one of our worst was probably the first show opening up for SYSTEM OF A DOWN before the Ozzfest in 2002. I think it was in Pennsylvania somewhere. We hadn't rehearsed as a band for in over a years time and we'd just finished Nothing and didn't sllep properly for a month and then got really drunk on the plane over to the US. When we walked on stage we were not even sure exactly what songs we were playing. It was a nightmare."

Koloss features the following ten songs:

'I Am Colossus'

'The Demon’s Name Is Surveillance'

'Do Not Look Down'

'Behind The Sun'

'The Hurt That Finds You First'

'Marrow'

'Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion'

'Swarm'

'Demiurge'

'The Last Vigil'
