HALCYON WAY Announce New Rhythm Guitarist And Touring Bassist

Atlanta’s HALCYON WAY have announced the addition of new rhythm guitarist Shawn Dirksen to the band, as well as the addition of Trey Hollingsworth as fill-in bassist for their upcoming European tour with the symphonic metal band DELAIN.
Founding member Jon Bodan stated: “We’re glad to announce that after a long AND exhaustive search for the right permanent fit for Halcyon Way, we have brought Shawn Dirksen into the fold as our new rhythm guitar player. He’s a great fit for us and we’re ready to throw down again! On another note, we also have to announce that Kris Maltenieks is unable to come with us on our upcoming tour due to some family commitments, so we have enlisted the help of our friend Trey Hollingsworth to fill in on the bass for us on our upcoming warm-up shows and the tour with Delain this spring. Shawn, a veteran of several successful local and regional bands in the Atlanta area, stated: “This is a great opportunity and I’m very stoked to be the new member of HW - we’re gonna have good times on the upcoming tour and in the years to come! This material is punishing and challenging and I’m having a blast!”
The band will be performing a warm-up date for their upcoming tour this Sunday, March 4th, at the Masquerade in Atlanta with ICED EARTH and WARBRINGER, and discounted tickets are available at this location.
