XANDER DEMOS, the rock and metal shred guitarist best known as both a solo instrumentalist and as a member of SABBATH JUDAS SABBATH, recently announced the release of his debut full-length release, Guitarcadia.

The track, 'White Knuckle Driving (WKD)', is being released to radio on February 29th, the same day as the release date of the full CD. Radio promotion will be handled jointly through MTS Management in the US, and Cameron Tilbury Publicity worldwide, including European and Asian markets.

The single was chosen through a series of posts on Xander's Facebook page, pairing two of his tracks against each other. Each day, the track with the most fan "likes" would move on to face a different track, until the final selection was made.

"From the melodic opening Iron Maiden-esque riff to the scorchingly hot fretwork found throughout to the insanely intense climax at the end, 'WKD' is what pure metal masterpieces are made of", says Michael Stover of MTS Management. "This track is going to put Xander on the map alongside greats like Malmsteen, Vai, and Satriani."

Guitarcadia was mixed and mastered by another virtuoso in his own right, CJ Snare of FIREHOUSE, features an eclectic list of Xander's original instrumental compositions, as well as some vocal tracks and a couple of cover songs, done in Xander's own unique style.

"There are some really strong songs on this album. That's right... songs!" says Micihael Stover of MTS Management. "Not only does Xander possess the intense, jaw-dropping techical skills, but his material is actually the stuff that hit records are made of. I put his stuff right up there with your Vais and your Malmsteens. We're really excited to get this record out."

Guitarcadia is available at iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and everywhere music is sold. To hear
