THERAPY? Drummer Breaks Finger, Shows Postponed
March 5, 2012, 12 years ago
Ireland's THERAPY? has issued the following update:
"We are very sorry to inform you that the Dublin and Cork shows this weekend have had to be rescheduled... long story short... Neil (Cooper, drums) has had an accident and broken his finger (actually the knuckle on his ‘snare’ hand middle finger) and after a visit to a specialist , he has been advised to take minimum two weeks recovery time (ie. no movement, lifting, or playing) to give the finger the best chance of recovery.
Hence we have had to make the regrettable decision to cancel the Cork and Dublin shows this forthcoming weekend and reschedule them for the 10th (Dublin) and the 11th (Cork) of May. Venues and all original tickets will remain valid. As I’m sure you agree, the rescheduling of the two shows though not ideal, seems the wisest option at such short notice. Apologies to everyone, especially those who have made travel/work/holiday arrangements to attend.
A final word from Mr Cooper...
So sorry everyone. I’m absolutely gutted about causing the Cork and Dublin shows to be re-arranged. We’ve been unbelievably excited about playing the first A Brief Crack Of Light shows and to have something like this happen now is a complete nightmare. I promise I’ll be on the mend and we’ll make the re-arranged dates in May extra special.”
Therapy? issued their 13th album, A Brief Crack Of Light, on February 6th.
