hot flashes news wrath

Illinois-based metallers WRATH have parted ways with vocalist Kurt Grayson, and have announced his replacement.

The band states: "After a nice long run, we decided it was best to part with vocalist Kurt Grayson due to simple logistics. We were very fortunate to have reconnected with Kurt back in '09, and we will always be grateful to Kurt for being one of the best musicians we have worked with! Kurt resides in Dallas, Texas, and with our home base here in Illinois, it's very difficult to carry out the duties of being a working band. Kurt is fronting both MITRA and the reformed BILLYCLUB, as well as other projects in Dallas. We wish Kurt the very best in his endeavors, and there is absolutely no animosity in this decision.

That said, we'd like to extend a warm Wrath welcome to Mr. Scott Matrise (Milwaukee, WI)! Scott shares many of the same influences as the rest of us, and brings his own brand of "angry energy" to Wrath - very, very METAL! Our path remains the same - There will be no change in direction - there will be no compromise. We look forward to offending you with many live shows in the coming months, and we still have one of the best records we have ever written to finish! Thanks for sticking by us, and thanks for your support! Metal On friends!!!"
