German black metallers SECRETS OF THE MOON release their new album, Seven Bells, via Prophecy Productions today. March 16th. The album is currently streaming in it's entirety at this location.
The first video from the album for the song 'NYX' can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Fursy Teyssier and François-Marc Baillet at Viva Emptiness Studios.
Frontman sG comments: "This is the very first Secrets Of The Moon video clip. In its total length the song is about 11 minutes long. We had to cut almost half of it to make it more comfortable for everyone. However, you still get a decent impression of it. Parts of the lyrics are taken from the 'Liber Cordis Cincti Serpente' - an account of the relations of the aspirant and his holy guardian angel. Now, enjoy!"
Secrets Of The Moon mixed the follow-up to last year's well-received Privilegivm at Woodshed Studio in Bavaria, Germany with CELTIC FROST/HELLHAMMER legend Tom G. Warrior (TRIPTYKON).
Warrior remarked about the sessions: "These sessions easily rank among the most fascinating, enthralling, and constructive I have ever been a part of. The friendship with Secrets Of The Moon, which has begun in such a unique manner, shall hopefully persist for a very long time."
