Canadian heavy/doom metal band CAUCHEMAR will hit the road for their first European tour, playing songs off their mini-album La Vierge Noire, released by Nuclear War Now! Productions in 2010, as well as new songs from their upcoming full-length. The Rites Lunaires tour will start on April 20 in Berlin, Germany, and will visit 18 cities in 8 European countries, including the legendary Keep it True (Germany) and Muskelrock (Sweden) festivals – sharing the stage with cult bands such as MANILLA ROAD, OZ, GRIM REAPER, HELL, SLOUGH FEG and newer acts such as THE DEVIL’S BLOOD, BLACK OATH, WARHAMMER, NECROWRETCH, BLACK SALVATION, AMULET and CHILDREN OF DOOM. The shows promise to be truly magical events.

Cauchemar vocalist Annick Giroux and guitarist François Patry have been traveling the world for more than a year now, during which they have played concerts in Colombia, Chile, Peru and India. They have written the songs for the upcoming Cauchemar album in rehearsal studios during their long journey. Featuring powerful heavy metal songs with a doomy vibe and French lyrics, the album will be released in 2013 by San Francisco label Nuclear War Now! Productions.
