Finland's PAIN CONFESSOR have signed with Spinefarm Records.

After releasing three well received albums, Pain Confessor has been working on material for a new album since last year; beginning on May 7th, the band will literally lock themselves into a studio and the fourth, yet-untitled installment of their saga is to be released towards the end of 2012.

Formed back in 2002, Pain Confessor released their debut album, Turmoil, in 2004. The sophomore, Fearrage, saw the light of day two years later and the third, Purgatory Of The Second Sun, in 2007. After a few changes in the lineup since the latest album the band is whole again. Celebrating their 10th anniversary the band climb the first steps of a new beginning.

Pain Confessorin is: Make Kivistö (vocals), Mikko Kivistö (bass), Pasi Laihanen (keyboards), Jaakko Kunnas (guitar), Tuomas Kuusinen (guitar) and Aki Kuusinen (drums).

Pain Confessor comments on the new album: “Three down, fourth to go. Finally, someone utters. But what’s the deal with the new full length? We are rowing a truly grim river. The renewed lineup boasts with vigor to go through a stone wall, the material heavy as a murderer’s burden. Is it better than Turmoil? No, it is a completely different record and stands on its own upon fresh soil. The crew’s newest inmates bring along a whole new bag of tricks with which to drill deeper into the hidden reaches of human mind with newborn fervor. Spinefarm is the key that unlocks these gargantuan shackles. Unleash the beast!"
