The Age Of Metal had the chance to talk with BLACK TUSK bassist Jonathan Athon about their tour, the latest album, SWSX, the state of the band, and their future plans. Check out the interview below:

Black Tusk, the Savannah, Georgia road warriors, have confirmed that they will be joining DOWN and HAARP on a string of shows this May. The dates kick off May 18th in Broussard, Louisiana and are scheduled to wrap up on May 25th in Memphis, TN.

Black Tusk are currently on tour in support of their new album, Set The Dial. This run features headlining tour dates which will feature support from EAST OF THE WALL. Black Tusk's entire set from their show last week at The Viper Room in Los Angeles, CA is available for viewing here.

Following their North American dates, Black Tusk will be heading over to Europe providing direct support to label mates RED FANG. The tour will kick off April 5th in Segrate, Italy and wraps up on May 5th in Essen, Germany. A teaser video for the tour can be viewed below:

Black Tusk will be taking part in the Orion Music & More Festival curated by METALLICA. The event is set for Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ. Black Tusk will be featured on the Damage Inc. stage on Saturday June 23rd alongside label mates Red Fang and many others. More information can be found here.
