The Hour recently conducted an interview with SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES). In a snippet from the interview, Slash talks about the 25 years since Guns N' Roses released Appetite For Destruction, and what it will mean to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Watch the clip below:

Slash, drummer Steven Adler, bassist Duff McKagan, singer Axl Rose and guitarist Izzy Stradlin, along with later Guns N' Roses members, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and drummer Matt Sorum, will all be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on April 14th in Cleveland, Ohio.

Slash told BraveWords.com recently that he questions the validity of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame when some of the forefathers of the scene like RUSH, KISS, MOTÖRHEAD, JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, CHEAP TRICK, BAD COMPANY, JOURNEY aren't even part of club.

"It seems unusually biased," Slash remarks. "It's hard for me to get excited because it's something almost embarrassing to be called into something when the guys that were toiling around way before you got there - people's records you have - don't get in there."

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame kicked off the civic celebration and concerts leading up to its April 14th inductions with the unveiling recently of sidewalk "Walk of Fame" plaques honouring the newest inductees. The initial 14 round plaques were unveiled in a windswept ceremony outside the auditorium where the inductions will be held.
