Bergen, Norway's DERIDE recently inked a deal with Massacre Records. The band's third album, The Void, is scheduled to be released on April 27th. Check out the artwork below:

The Void was mixed and mastered by Bjørnar Erevik Nilsen at the Conclave Studio in Bergen, Norway and combines doom, power and modern metal with stoner rock. The album will feature 10 songs with titles such as 'Dead To Me', 'Lesson Learned' and 'I Rage'. The Void will be available for a special newcomer price.

Deride has been lurking around for well over a decade now, making their first appearance in the summer of 1995. The band released a self-titled EP as well as a three track demo tape before releasing their first album, Scars Of Time, in 2001 and the successor, First Round Knockout, in 2003.

After a break the band is now back with a new lineup: founding members Ole Walaunet (guitars) and Kjetil Greve (drums) were joined by vocalist Per Helge Lande and bassist Tony Vetas.
