Work on the new album from Ohio-based heavy metal band AXEMASTER has been delayed due to guitarist/producer Joe Sims' (pictured) recent move to a new residence. As the studio was broken down and re-assembled at the new location, the band took the time to upgrade the studio's software which is a huge improvement over what was previously being used. Although delays are normally unfortunate, both of these things are going to prove to be extremely beneficial in the long run.

According to a studio update, "quite a bit of progress was made on the production prior to the move and upgrade. Drum recording and editing is now close to being completed and there are only a few songs left to be recorded on guitar (then it's on to bass and vocals). Although there is still a lot of work to be done the project is definitely moving forward. As mentioned before, the production continues to be a slow process with great attention being paid to every small detail. The band has a total commitment to making this release as good as it can possibly be and will keep putting the work and time in to make that happen!"
