AEROSMITH - Rock For The Rising Sun Film In Production

According to ABC News Radio, AEROSMITH's Steven Tyler will be on hand for the big finale of Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp‘s latest installment, taking place on Saturday night at the famous Playboy Mansion in Hollywood. The frontman will party and jam with the rocking campers. Other musicians scheduled to participate in the big show include YES drummer Alan White, VANILLA FUDGE bassist Tim Bogert, drummer Vinny Appice (KILL DEVIL HILL, HEAVEN & HELL, BLACK SABBATH, DIO), bassist Rudy Sarzo (OZZY OSBOURNE, QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE, Dio, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT) and guitarist Bruce Kulick (ex-KISS).
In other news, Tyler revealed in a recent Twitter post that the band was set to start filming a new video on Friday. Aerosmith is working on the clip with Casey Patrick Tebo, who also is directing a new concert film titled Aerosmith: Rock For The Rising Sun. According to Tebo’s official website, the movie will focus on the band’s relationship with its Japanese fans, and is expected to be released later this year or in 2013.
