SAMMY HAGAR Celebrates Grand Reopening Of Tahoe Restaurant

According to Kolotv.com, SAMMY HAGAR (CHICKENFOOT, ex-VAN HALEN, MONTROSE) made an appearance at his Cabo Wabo Cantina at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Friday to celebrate its grand reopening.
“The place has never looked better,” Hagar said. “The food has never been better and this isn’t just a makeover, we actually redesigned the menu, added a lot of new items and the chefs really came through. I gotta say I’m happy.”Click here to find out more!
And fans were happy when he took the Cantina’s new stage for an impromptu number.
“The fans, oh man, they’re just the stuff,” Hagar said. “Everybody goes, ‘Sammy, how they always come to your places and how come you can make tequila and its successful and other guys try to do it and can’t’? I think the bottom line to the success I’ve had with my fans is it’s a mutual thing, I love them and they love me and it’s because they always support what I do that I will never ask them to do anything that isn’t fun and great.”Tickets to see his band Chickenfoot at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe this weekend have been sold out for months. Good news for business owners in an area that’s seen its share of economic downturn.
“We’ve got nine strong concert acts planned for this summer, it’s probably going to be our strongest summer concert series yet,” Harrah’s Regional President John Koster said. “Sammy is going to be the grand finale on September first over Labor Day.”Read more and check out a video report at at Kolotv.com.
