JON OLIVA'S PAIN - featuring SAVATAGE frontman/founder Jon Oliva - has issued the following announcement:

In celebration of our 25th anniversary tour of The Hall Of The Mountain King record, we will also honor our dear friend and musical partner - Matthew LaPorte. An auction to benefit the musical scholarship in his name will be held at the JOP Ritz Theatre performance on Saturday June 16th in Tampa, FL.

The auction will consist of a Fender Guitar (signed by all members of JOP), a signed VIP laminate, a pair of signature drum sticks, and a set of all JOP members' guitar picks commemorating this iconic tour. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Matt's scholarship fund. Auction raffle tickets will be available for purchase ONLY at the show and you MUST be present to win as we will give away this awesome package of stuff during our show. If you're foolish enough to leave the show before the auction... you can't win!

A huge shout-out and thanks to John Spinelli and everyone at Seminole Music in Seminole Florida for making this possible. You and your staff are simply the best! We love you all!
