The first photos of OUTKAST star ANDRE 3000 on the set of new JIMI HENDRIX biopic All Is By My Side have been posted at Entertainmentwise.com. Check one out below. The unauthorised story of the legend's life is currently being shot in Dublin.
Experience Hendrix LLC, the family-owned company that manages Jimi Hendrix' music and publishing, released a statement saying that it’s not on board with any such project.
"Experience Hendrix has made it known many times in the past that no such film, were it to include original music or copyrights created by Jimi Hendrix, can be undertaken without its full participation.”
The statement went on to say that the family isn’t categorically opposed to getting involved in such a project in the future: “Experience Hendrix CEO Janie Hendrix, sister of Jimi Hendrix, and the EH board have not ruled out a ‘biopic’ in the future though producing partners would, out of necessity, have to involve the company from the inception of any such film project if it is to include original Jimi Hendrix music or compositions.”
