Southern California-based stoner rockers FU MANCHU have begun work on their next album.

Says the band: "Starting to write for a new record. We have recorded every Fu Manchu record on this 4-track machine (below), starting with the 1995 Daredevil release. We didnt use this for the final recordings that were released, but the entire record for each release was done on this first, then we would go into a real studio."

Fu Manchu will tour in support of the 15th anniversary of their The Action Is Go release. The band will be pressing up a small run of double vinyl editions of the release to sell at the shows. On each night of the tour, the band will perform the 1997 album in its entirety. This follows last year’s In Search Of tour, where Fu Manchu played all of the tracks from their third album.

Speaking about the new dates, Fu Manchu frontman Scott Hill said: “We’re stoked that the fans are into us doing the complete album thing again. We look forward to bringing these songs back live to the fans after 15 years.”
