earMUSIC, Hamburg based rock branch of Edel Group, has announced the signing of one of the first Italian metal bands to conquer an international fanbase and commercial success: VISION DIVINE

The band was founded by guitarist and songwriter Olaf Thorsen (also founder of LABYRINTH) and singer Fabio Lione (known for his work in RHAPSODY, RHAPSODY OF FIRE and most recently for having been the lead vocalist with KAMELOT during their Poetry For The Poisoned tour, replacing with success the charismatic frontman Roy Khan).

Vision Divine’s debut CD in 1998 sold over 100,000 units in Europe. The band’s new epic saga, Destination Set To Nowhere (its 7th studio album) will be released on September 14th.

Destination Set To Nowhere is a melting pot, a perfect mix of all the styles the band has crossed and experimented with over the years. Nevertheless, the concept album is kept in their well-known style, spiced up with a futuristic twist. The high-class production adds up to the unbelievably driven sound. Destination Set To Nowhere clearly is Vision Divine’s most mature and well produced album up to this point!

Strong of a new worldwide record deal, it leads the band into a new, an even bigger musical dimension. Songs like ‘The Dream Maker’, ‘Beyond The Sun And Far Away’ and ‘Mermaids From Their Moons’ all prove this, all featuring powerful melodies and a vivid style. Strong anthems meet heavy songs.

The epic saga Destination Set To Nowhere takes place in space, starting from the social-political troubles everybody is experiencing in every-day life. It follows a man on his journey through open space, after having left the earth together with like-minded people. They set out to search a new home, a new planet to make everything better, to live their vision of peace. Finally, after a long journey, a new planet to call home has been found. But slowly, the crew falls back into the same old routines. The new found heaven has turned into the same hell they all wanted to leave behind. The only way to escape is to set out again, one man leaving alone – destination set to nowhere.

But without a doubt, Vision Divine’s destination is set to conquer the Olympus of heavy metal!
