ANVIL's Lips - "What An Hour To Come To Taiwan On Canada Day"; Video Footage

Canadian heavy metal heroes ANVIL played Celebration Canada in Taiwan on July 1st. The show, which was held at the Legacy Club in Taipei, Taiwan, was part of a two day festival to celebrate Canada’s 145th birthday being organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of Taiwan. It was the first time that the trio - frontman Steve "Lips" Kudlow, drummer Robb Reiner and new bass player Sal Italiano - have played in Taiwan.
Lips remarked: "What an amazing gig!! Taiwan kicked major ass!! People here are GREAT!! The venue was awesome and the promoter Terry was a fantastic person who did an amazing job!! We will be back!! And that is a promise!!!"
Robb Reiner: "Taipei Taiwan. I'm left speechless,sold out or over sold, totally over the top. The Anvil smashing machine just claimed yet more new territory. What a show and the pounders where something not describable. Hello fucking Taiwan!! We shall return again. Thank U thank UUUUU!!!!!"
