Russia's KARTIKEYA To Begin Recording Samudra Album

Moscow-based epic ethno death metal band KARTIKEYA will begin recording their third album, entitled Samudra, on July 15th at Arsafes Records studios.
Says the band: "This album will mark the beginning of a conceptual pentalogy, based on nature's elements, as seen through the prism of Hindu mythology and culture. The CD will feature many guests from different parts of the world. Stay tuned for further announcements!"
The band is currently in search for a label in Europe and North America.
Kartikeya recently posted the single 'The Horrors Of Home' online, featuring Keith Merrow and Aleksandra Radosavljevic (ABOVE THE EARTH). Check it out below:

On October 1st, 2011, Grailight Productions released Kartikeya's Durga Puja EP. The release contains covers of SEPULTURA and MELECHESH, re-recorded and rearranged versions of songs from their first album, The Battle Begins, a live version of 'The Path', and a totally new song, 'Durga Puja', which was mixed/mastered by producer Logan Mader (SOULFLY, GOJIRA, DEVILDRIVER, etc.).
