A Virginia judge has dismissed White House party crasher Tareq Salahi’s $50 million lawsuit against the rock musician who ran off with Salahi’s wife. Salahi accused JOURNEY guitarist Neal Schon and two affiliated entertainment companies of scheming to break up his marriage and capitalize on the split for business purposes.

The Northern Virginia Daily reports that Warren County Circuit Judge Dennis Hupp ruled Monday that Salahi’s claims would be more appropriately addressed in divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Michaele Salahi, than in a business practices lawsuit.

“I keep coming back to the same place in my thoughts, and that is the partnership these defendants are alleged to have interfered with is a marital partnership,” Hupp said.

Salahi said he intends to appeal to the Virginia Supreme Court.

Monday marked the second time Hupp has ruled against Salahi’s claims in the lawsuit. The judge dismissed the suit in April but allowed Salahi to file an amended complaint.

The Salahis gained notoriety in 2009 when they crashed a White House state dinner — a stunt that prompted concern about the Secret Service’s effectiveness.

That exposure landed Michaele a role in the short-lived reality television series Real Housewives Of D.C. Later, she was kicked off another reality program, Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew when it became clear she was addicted to nothing more than the spotlight.

Michaele Salahi left the couple’s home last September and within a few days began touring with Journey. The Salahis are suing each other for divorce. Michaele Salahi also has filed an $850,000 defamation suit against her estranged husband over comments he made in a television interview.

In the most recent attention-grabbing move, Tareq Salahi announced he is running for governor as a Republican.
