FIREWIND's Bob Katsionis Puts 'Breaking The Silence' Touring Keyboard Up For Auction: "It's For Collector's Purposes Only"
July 10, 2012, 12 years ago
FIREWIND keyboardist/guitarist Bob Katsionis is selling his Yamaha CS-2X keyboard, which he used on all Firewind tours, recordings and videos from 2004-2008, on eBay:
"So, this auction is going on for Firewind fans only! This is the original keyboard I've been using on tours with Firewind, since the very first show in Japan Tour 2004 until the hometown gig in Athens 2009 (Gagarin Club), where I just threw it off stage and partly destroyed it! (Well, actually tried to!).
It's also the one you can see on the Live Premonition DVD, and the one on the 'Breaking The Silence' videoclip and all live photos between 2004-2008.
It is all covered by a plastic coated print of the Premonition album's design plus an extra Firewind triangle logo and my customised Sound Buttons, used to highlight the program buttons during a sweaty gig! I'm emotionally connected with this one but I decided to sell it after I moved to a new place and just put it on storage and its just sitting there.
It's partly operational, as 1-2 keys are not working plus some parts are unscrewed and the screws are lost. It's definitely for collector's purposes only. But, if you intend to use it through MIDI, all its sounds (plus the original Saw Lead sound of 'Falling To Pieces') are still there! Good luck and I'm sure it will end up in good hands!"
