HALESTORM vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale is featured in a new interview with Christina Fuoco at Soundspike. An excerpt is available below:

Hale not only gets excited about her own music, but other artists' tunes as well. Hale lent her vocals to a reworked version of the SHINEDOWN song 'Shed Some Light' from the album Us and Them. She re-teamed with the Brent Smith-fronted act on the track 'Breaking Inside'.

Lzzy Hale appeared on BLACK STONE CHERRY's album Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea as a backup vocalist on the songs 'Such a Shame' and 'Won't Let Go'. Finally, she duets with ADRENALINE MOB lead singer Russell Allen on DURAN DURAN's 'Come Undone', which appeared on that act's Omerta collection.

"I love singing on other people's records," Hale said. "It's so much fun without the pressure of working on your own record. You're trying to help them out in the best way possible. It's not really a selfish thing. When you're making your own record, it's very inward and psychological. With these guys that I lend my vocals to, we're all friends. We're helping each other out and singing and having a great time, whereas, a lot of it happens very, very organically."
