JON LORD Remembered On BBC's Last Word; Audio Streaming

Legendary DEEP PURPLE/WHITESNAKE composer, pianist and Hammond organ player JON LORD, known for his pioneering work in fusing rock with classical or baroque forms, died on Monday, July 16th in a UK hospital at the age of 71, suffering a fatal pulmonary embolism at the London Clinic after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
