Survival Of The Fittest was produced by Krampus' charismatic frontman Filippo Gianotti himself at Udine’s legendary Blackmirror Studios and is set for release August 24th. The Survival Of The Fittest artwork and tracklisting are as follows:

'Arise (The Day Of Reckoning)'

'Beast Within'

'Unspoken'

'Rebirth'

'Aftermath'

'The Bride'

'Redemption'

'The Dance Of Lies'

'Kronos' Heritage'

'Shadows Of Our Time'

'Tears Of Stone'

'The Season Of Revenge' (bonus track)

Check out the explanation behind each track by singer Filippo and violinist Marika:

Singer Filippo has taken some time to explain the album's very distinctive cover artwork: "The artwork for Survival Of The Fittest is a vision of the frustration of men entangled by the modern society and their striving toward what is natural. It is an explosion of constricted needs and insticts against this dying world; it's the revelation of the Fittest. "The Fittest" is the one that deserves what he's achieved, and the standing he holds is not one of brute force but of merit. In this world he’s trapped with the mediocrity of the weak, those who fear to lose the privileges and certitudes they achieved without merit to the detriment of those who were worthy. The fittest envision a return to the nature that doesn’t know envy, corruption and injustice."

Shortly after the release of Survival Of The Fittest, Krampus will embark on their first extensive European tour, joining WINTERSUN and KORPIKLAANI on 2012’s edition of the hugely successful Heidenfest tour. The complete routing can be accessed at this location.
