MIKE PORTNOY Posts Video Of Prize Draw For Charity Raffle In Support Of Daughter's High School

Drummer Mike Portnoy (ADRENALINE MOB, FLYING COLORS, ex-DREAM THEATER) recently launched a charity raffle in support of his daughter Melody's high school. Following is Melody Portnoy's explanation of the raffle:

"Hi! I'm Melody Portnoy and I am a competition cheerleader. This upcoming year our school district was hit with budget cuts which took away all funding and support for this program. My squad has been coming up with different fundraising ideas. Mine is to raffle of cool items donated by my Dad that can’t be purchased anywhere else . All of the money raised will go toward funding the competition program and most importantly, new floor mats for our safety while stunting. With your help, we hope to raise enough money to allow us to continue this program. Competition cheerleading is what we love and are passionate about. Please help keep our dream alive!

The first items to be raffled off were three autographed pairs of MP's custom touring sticks. One set from TRANSATLANTIC's 2010 Whirld Tour, one set from Avenged Sevenfold's 2010 Nightmare Tour, and one set from Adrenaline Mob's 2012 Omertour. These are custom made for Portnoy and are unavailable anywhere else.
