KATAKLYSM guitarist / producer Jean-Francois Dagenais is featured in a new video interview with metal Assault, conducted at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA on September 16th. Dagenais talks about the current tour and looks forward to going home after a very busy touring year, playing at the Key Club, touring with KITTIE, songs from new album Heaven's Venom, the possibility of a headlining tour, the Ozzfest experience, getting a shoutout from Rob Halford, upcoming tour to South Africa, the response to Heaven's Venom, and the origin of the band's name.

Kataklysm's Heaven’s Venom was released on August 13th in Europe and August 24th in North America. The follow-up to 2008’s Prevail, was recorded by Dagenais (MALEVOLENT CREATION, MISERY INDEX) and was mixed by Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MNEMIC, DARK TRANQUILLITY).
