Tracey Lukasik at Backstage Axxess recently conducted an interview with TRIUMPH guitarist Rik Emmett and his longtime collaborator Dave Dunlop. Check it out below.

Backstage Axxess: "Rik Emmett and Dave Dunlop have been collaborating for close to 17 years now, so we decided it was about time to interview the duo, side by side, for a fun and informative conversation. The boys discussed their current project, ReCOVERy Room9, which is a collection of nine cover songs they chose to record, along with an upcoming release that will feature a full length CD of Triumph classics, performed in an acoustic format. We also touched on Rik’s most recent gig, one that doesn’t revolve much around the guitar, but more so with rattles, bottles, and funny faces. Rik became a Grandpa about 3 months ago and beamed with pride as he expressed his amazement at all of the new things he is witnessing his grandson discover."

Triumph's new Live At Sweden Rock Festival set consists of a DVD and CD (both featuring identical track listings), and features all of the Triumph classics fans could hope for including 'When the Lights Go Down', 'Lay It On the Line', 'Never Surrender', 'Magic Power' and 'Fight The Good Fight'.

Additionally, there are several bonus features, including the on site Triumph Press Conference, a cool "behind the scenes" at the festival, and a photo gallery.

"It's great to finally be able show the world Triumph's reunion show at the Sweden Rock Festival", says Mike Levine."It certainly is one of the most memorable performances of our entire career! And they said it would never happen…"
