KILMARA have announced that they will enter Roland Grapow’s (MASTERPLAN, ex-HELLOWEEN) studio in Slovakia on September, 25th to record their new album which will be titled Love Songs And Other Nightmares.
After looking into some alternatives with Rising Records to record the new CD the band decided for Roland.
The band commented: “The plan was to start recording early during summer 2012 but between Roland preparing his new Masterplan album and his work with SARATOGA, his agenda was fully booked until the end of summer. The new Kilmara album will be called Love Songs And Other Nightmares.
What we can already reveal is that we will collaborate with some great Spanish musicians.
Dave Imbernön from ENUMA ELISH on the keys and Caleb from young Spanish folk death metal band DRAKUM on the violin.
Love Songs And Other Nightmares will probably be our heaviest album up to date and we hope to finally make the breakthrough on European and International level.”
Kilmara presented one of its new songs live on stage during Barcelona’s Harley Days in July. The song, entitled ‘Alpha’, was written to support the band’s favorite Beer Brewery. A fan made video from the show can be seen below:
