SOCIETY 1 - New EP To Be Produced By Ex-FEAR FACTORY Drummer Raymond Herrera

SOCIETY 1's forthcoming EP, Screams Of A Sadist, will be produced by drummer Raymond Herrera (ARKAEA, ex-FEAR FACTORY). Vocalist/founder Lord Zane will be joined by guitarist Brian Jackson (SKINLAB), bassist Brett Pirozzi (BILE) and drummer Pete Pace (LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT) to record six new tracks. The music will explore the heavier side of the Society 1 sound but keep a strong influence from their industrial roots.
Zane: “This will be the most guitar driven album we have ever done and really wanted someone to be able to capture the heavy sound and intensity. Raymond and Jeremy have worked on some incredibly heavy albums and we felt they would really be able to bring the production of the S1 sound to another level we previously haven’t reached.”
After the recording is completed the band will film a new video and be looking for tours while playing selected dates.
Jackson: “We are definitely going to play some one off shows to get used to the new material live but the main goal is to get back on tour in 2013.”
