October 21, 2012, 12 years ago
HYDROGYN guitarist Jeff Westlake has issued the following update:
"So, official announcement coming this week, but will let ya all in on it now.I am doing a solo thing that will be called WESTLAKE starting now. I have asked Lothar Keller to be the vocalist of this project. He is currently in a band called SACRED DAWN and in THE SKULL as well. I have known Lo for about seven years now and he is the perfect fit as a person and a voice for this metal project. John Cardilino will be doing the drums and Chris Sammons will be on bass.
Lo and I are currently writing and hope to have three to five songs finished by Christmas and finish up the rest in January 2013. CD will be produced by us with The Davo Chandler as well. Will keep you posted."
Hydrogyn will be playing their home town of Ashland, Kentucky on November 3rd at Callihans. This will be the band's first show in two years and they will be filming a DVD on the night. The show will include songs spanning the band's entire career and every studio release as well. This is a limited seating event.
