Organizers have announced that the young female fronted heavy metal band from Philadelphia, MISTRESS has confirmed its participation in the Pre-Fest Showcase of the Warriors Of Metal Fest VI Open Air to be held at The Shrunken Head Rock Club at 251 West 5th Avenue in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday evening, June 27th, 2013.

Band vocalist Deanna Gardas, who was present at this year's Pre-Fest Showcase as a fan states: “This will be the first time our band migrates to the midwest... and for a thrashing at a metal fest? Boy howdy! I’m shakin’ in my spiky boots. We are ridiculously excited. This year has been quite the succession of big, fat changes for us all; it started with an official promotional music video, progressing through updates in our lineup and leading to the current creation of a second album. The Pre-Warriors Of Metal Fest VI Showcase will be our first long-distance journey as a band, and we plan to make the most of our iron-clad set... that includes a few new tunes which are heavy as hell and rad as buttered radishes. Ohio will be very sweaty!”
