According to The Sunday Times, LED ZEPPELIN guitar legend Jimmy Page is holed up in a west London studio remastering every Led Zeppelin LP tentatively due for release sometime in 2013, which coincides with the band's 45th anniversary when the band changed their name from the NEW YARDBIRDS in 1968.
Page told Mojo: "There are a number of Led Zeppelin projects that will come out next year because there are different versions of tracks that we have that can be added to the album so there will be box sets of material that will come out, starting next year. There will be one box set per album with extra music that will surface."
The remasters will feature redesigned artwork by Los Angeles-based artist Shepard Fairly.
As previously reported by The Pulse Of Radio, Jimmy Page is also working on new music, which might be released before the end of the year. During a chat with BBC Radio, Page said, "I'm just looking forward to making some music and surprising people with it. It won't be just teaming up with lots of people who are (big) names. I've got an idea of something which I've had for a long time and now's the time to do it."
Page remained ambiguous when talking about the still-unnamed project, saying: "I have got other ideas that have been nagging at me for a long long time, I think the way to present music is same picture different frame, and sometimes this frame is quite radical."
