SOUNDGARDEN Discuss New Song 'Halfway There' In Video Interview

SOUNDGARDEN will release King Animal, their first new studio album in over 15 years, on November 13th in Canada via Vertigo Records/Universal Music Canada and in the US via Universal Republic. The album will be released a day earlier in Europe.

In the video below, guitairst Kim Thayil and bassist Ben Shepherd discuss writing and recording 'Halfway There'. According to Thayil, "the music and lyrics are written by (frontman) Chris Cornell. It's originally a demo that he did where he performed everything."

Soundgarden will be making a pair of TV appearances to promote King Animal; catch the band performing on Late Night with David Letterman on November 12th, and on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on November 26th.
