Soundgarden release King Animal, their first new studio album in over 15 years, today, November 13th, in Canada via Vertigo Records/Universal Music Canada and in the US via Universal Republic.

Soundgarden have announced their Winter 2013 North American tour dates, including two-night engagements in New York City, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and, for the first time since the band reunited, in their hometown of Seattle. Fan Club pre-sales begin on Monday, November 12th and tickets go on-sale to the public starting on Friday, November 16th.

The band has announced a commemorative poster art design contest for the tour, asking fans to use the album title as the theme to create a ferocious and primal design that embodies the untamed disposition of a King Animal."The deadline for submission is December 21st.
