MARYANN COTTON To Record New Album In February
November 14, 2012, 12 years ago
MARYANN COTTON has announced that work has begun on the follow-up to Free Falling Angels, which was released in May.
''I have so many ideas that I have started to record so I can remember them through the demo process. Hal Patino has also begun to come with small inputs, and already have some storylines ready for some of the songs. 'The last album 'Free Falling Angels' was a very classic rock inspired album, and the idea is to go darker one the next one, and show a more darker side of the character. We expect to be ready in February next year, to go in the studio and start the recordings for the album. The lineup is still not determined yet, but I'm sure that there also will be some guest appearances on the next album. ''
Free Falling Angels was recorded by current and former KING DIAMOND musicians - Hal Patino (bass), Andy La Rocque (guitar), Pete Blakk (guitar), Snowy Shaw (drums) - and Maryann's own guitarist Sebastain Sly.
