MACHINE HEAD - Video Diary Of Robb Flynn's Successful Hernia Surgery, Day Two
November 15, 2012, 12 years ago
On November 14th, MACHINE HEAD frontman Robb Flynn underwent emergency surgery for a double inguinal hernia in Edina, Minnesota, forcing the band to temporarily drop off their current North American tour with DETHKLOK, ALL THAT REMAINS and BLACK DAHLIA MURDER. A five-minute video diary of Flynn's post-op recovery can be viewed below.
Flynn had planned to go under the knife in January after completing the tour as he has been playing through the pain since the tour started in October. He had hoped to continue the tour despite extreme discomfort, but it became too difficult to continue on. Flynn will be returning home to California to recover, rest and recuperate. Machine Head will rejoin the tour on November 24th in Portland, OR.
