THE RESISTANCE Featuring Former IN FLAMES, GRAVE, THE HAUNTED Members Ink Deal With EarMusic; New Song Streaming

THE RESISTANCE - the Swedish metal band featuring Jesper Strömblad and Glenn Ljungström (both ex-IN FLAMES), vocalist Marco Aro (ex-THE HAUNTED, FACEDOWN), drummer Chris Barkensjö (ex-KAAMOS, ex-GRAVE) and MINORA guitarist Claudio Oyarzo - have inked a deal with EarMusic, who will release their debut EP, Rise From Treason, (out January 25th in Europe, January 29th in North America), followed by a full-length album later in the year.
According to a press release, "The Resistance is not a super-group, or a side project. It is a band, it’s a gang, embracing the musical attitude and sounds of Swedish old school death metal and the old “no compromise” values of hardcore."
