Tairrie B. Murphy, vocalist for LA-based MY RUIN, has checked in with the following update via Facebook:
"We've had a lot of new 'likes' to our page this past week. Thanks and welcome everyone. For those of you just discovering our band and music for the first time, we'd like to invite you to this free download of our last album. Enjoy and share the rock love!
We've actually just recorded a new album which we're getting ready to unveil in early 2013! In the meantime,A Southern Revelation and our previous recording, Ghosts And Good Stories, are a great introduction to the band for those just hearing My Ruin for the first time so please take a moment to check out both and share our music with your friends!"

On October 27th, My Ruin performed at The Viper Room special guests GOLDSBORO, BEHOLD! THE MONOLITH and ALL HAIL THE YETI as support. The band has posted over 60 photos from the gig here.
My Ruin debuted material from their as-yet-untitled new album, which they recently recorded Soundtrack Black Studio in Tennessee. Producer Joel Stooksbury sat in on drums for the gig.
